Daily Dashboard

Monday, November 2: Coach Wayne’s 4:00 class at Patriots Point will be held today. All other classes have already ended for the season.

FINAL DAYS OF FALL ON-COURSE PROGRAMS: (please note that some of these dates are subject to change if additional rain outs occur)

  • Mondays: Coach Wayne’s homeschool classes at Patriots Point (12:30 and 1:45): October 26th
  • Mondays: Coach Wayne’s 4:00 class at Patriots Point (ages 12-13): November 2nd
  • Mondays: Coach Frank’s 3:45 class at Patriots Point (ages 12-13): October 26th
  • Mondays: All classes at Wescott, Charleston Muni, and Pine Forest: October 26th
  • Tuesdays: Coach Abby’s class at Charleston Muni (4:00 ages 12-15): November 3rd
  • Tuesdays: Coach Frank’s class at Charleston Muni (5:30 ages 10-11): October 27th
  • Tuesdays: Coach John’s 3:30 class at Pine Forest (ages 7-9): October 20th
  • Tuesdays: All other Pine Forest classes (4:45, 5:00): October 27th
  • Tuesdays: All Wescott classes: October 27th
  • Wednesdays: Coach Jordan’s class at Shadowmoss (5:30 ages 7-9): October 28th
  • Wednesdays: All classes at Dunes West: October 28th
  • Wednesdays: All Patriots Point, Wescott, and other Shadowmoss classes: October 21st
  • Thursdays: Coach Brad’s 4:00 class at Charleston Muni (ages 7-9): October 29th
  • Thursdays: Coach Brad’s 5:15 class at Charleston Muni (ages 7-9): October 22nd
  • Thursdays: Coach Geoff’s 4:00 class at Shadowmoss (ages 7-9): November 5th – and NO CLASS on October 29th
  • Thursdays: Coach Geoff’s 5:00 class at Shadowmoss (ages 10-11): October 29th
  • Thursdays: All Patriots Point classes: October 22nd
  • Fridays: All Dunes West classes: October 30th

Please have your child wear comfortable clothing (golf polos or plain tee shirts, shorts or skirts, a hat, and sneakers – please, no jeans). Apply sunscreen and bug spray before class (these will not be provided by coaches due to allergy concerns).

CONTINUING FOR FALL: If your child does not arrive with a water bottle, parents/guardians will not be able to sign into class until they have one. Please note that this is for the safety of each participant. Thank you!

Walk your child up to their designated meeting location (unless otherwise noted below):

Patriots Point Links – Meet by the First Tee putting green
Wescott Golf Club – Use the car line at the bag drop loop
Charleston Municipal – Meet by the putting green benches
Shadowmoss Golf Club – Meet outside the restaurant/patio on the lawn
The Club at Pine Forest – Use the car line outside the pro shop
Dunes West – Meet next to the swimming pool, in the green space on Hartford Village Way

Check-In Daily

Classes may be canceled on any given day due to facility closure or coach illness, not just bad weather, so check the Daily Dashboard each day for class status. We assess course conditions 1.5 hours prior to class start and update the Daily Dashboard accordingly (emails are not sent). Golf is an outdoor sport, and we could potentially have a class if it is raining. We suggest your child bring a rain jacket if necessary.

Last Minute Cancellations

Pop-up storms happen, especially in summer, and coaches may not be able to give a full 1.5-hour cancellation notice.  Last-minute cancellations may occur when you arrive to drop off your child(ren).  The SAFETY of your child is our top priority and if a class needs to be canceled when you arrive, participants, parents, and coaches must immediately vacate the area, as our policy is that all participants must be taken off the golf course premises by their families when the golf course is unsafe due to weather. 

Rain Date / “Make-up” Class

Only one rain date “make-up” class is allotted per season. This will be used if one or more classes are canceled due to weather, unexpected coach absences, or golf course closures. If needed, the “make-up” class will occur after the final week of scheduled programming.

Attendance

Our coaching staff understands that your child may need to miss a class, but we do not offer make-up sessions or week-to-week class switches for missed classes.
