Pathfinder Immersion Program
First Tee – Greater Charleston launched a robust immersion program in 2021 that provides impactful year-round experiences for students on the brink of success. Participants—who are nominated by mentors, teachers, or coaches—enter the program the summer before 6th grade and continue through high school. They meet Monday-Friday during the summer and on Saturdays during the school year for golf, mentoring, and STEM enrichment activities. Participants also receive healthy meals, transportation, and support from dedicated instructors.
Become a Mentor
We want to get more positive role models involved in the lives of our Pathfinders! If you share our passion for positively impacting the lives of local young people, consider becoming a mentor.
Become a Program Partner
As a Pathfinder Immersion Program Partner, your individual gift or corporate investment will ensure each participant has the tools they need to excel—on and off the golf course. Your partnership will help provide transportation, equipment, healthy meals, and enrichment activities.
Program Partners often play an active role in enrichment curriculum. Options include:
- Onsite company visits for program participants
- Q&A sessions with company leaders and program participants
- Team building activities with employees and program participants
