Exciting news… Program alum and two-time Pathfinder Immersion Program intern coach Maya Timmons is officially joining First Tee – Greater Charleston as a full-time team member! As Program Manager, Maya will be assisting with community outreach and classes at local golf courses. She will also play a vital support role for our Pathfinder Immersion Program.*

Having spent 12 years in our On-Course Golf & Life Skills Program, Maya understands first-hand how the game of golf builds confidence and character. She also helped youth grow through the game as a summer coach for our Pathfinder Immersion Program back in 2024 and again in 2026. In addition to coaching, Maya is an enthusiastic fundraiser who has participated in FIVE 100 Hole Golfathon events.
Maya, who recently graduated from Valdosta State University with a Business Administration Degree concentrated in Marketing, is excited to return home and make a difference in her community. When you see her around town (and you absolutely will, likely piloting a First Tee bus), please give her a very warm welcome!
